Description
No long introduction required, we all know Sgt. Pepper by The Beatles to be their most influential record. This is a first pressing in mono PMC 7027 with the very rare 'Fourth Proof' album cover. The cover is in very good condition with a worn spine, but no rips or tears. There are no inners and the record is supplied in a 1967 EMI advertising dust sleeve. The vinyl and labels are also very good overall. Side one plays with faint background noise and is, apart from some visual marks, a definite Very Good + (there are two clicks on the spin out) Side two has a scratch across 'Within you without you', it's audible, but it plays through. The same for 'Lovely Rita' and 'Good Morning' but faint. Other than that, I make that a Very Good. The are no pumps or loud clicks and considering the age, it's still a nice album to enjoy. The 'Fourth Proof' are very collectable, here's a chance the obtain a copy for reasonable money.
