Well, folks, The Oldrocker is back and it's time to downsize my life. I just turned 60 and some of my many collectibles have just got to go. Next up is a Mono copy of SPLHCB, PMC7027, all the way from the United Kingdom. This is a good time to pick up one of these UK first printings and not have to pay a huge, overseas shipping charge. In fact, the opening bid is less than the shipping charge from the UK. No, this is not mint. But it is complete and very presentable with the exception of the psychedelic inner sleeve. First, the cover. Still glossy, no writing, soft corners, no distracting creases. However, the spine, while intact, shows heavy wear. Secondly, the vinyl. Still glossy and shiny, very little wear, colorful labels and no writing. Would look super nice as a display item. I have never played the record so I cannot attest to it's playability. It should play nicely, I just don't know. Thirdly, the inner sleeve. Old yellowed tape around the three sides. Only good as a filler but unfortunately it is tough to find a UK sleeve for sale. Fourthly, the insert. Still crisp, no creases. And, finally, the guaranty. As always, if you aren't happy with any of my "stuff' you can return it for a full refund of the purchase price.
