Vinyl (Ex+) In fantastic condition and has only seen very light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of very light marks per side - I'm gonna stick my neck out and say... I've probably never witnessed better looking surfaces. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. I'd love to say that every few copies of Pepper plays like this, but I can assure you that one that plays this well is something of a rarity. Within the top two copies I've ever witnessed and the clarity in the audio is nothing short of astonishing. Due to it's inherent popularity this LP has nearly always seen significant use. True low-mileage carefully cared for copies are few and far between. Intros and inbetweens, on this example, are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. On true low-mileage copies you can hear deep into the mix with percussion and the looping base notes perfectly resolved. Pretty much a nigh on perfect rendition - I am not overplaying this at all. You could test 50 decent looking copies and none will hold a candle to this copy. Not only is the actual level of clarity extremely unusual it's that this level is maintained the WHOLE way through. It's solid all the way through...no iffy patches, no "a touch of this or that". Nigh on perfect. "She's Leaving Home" - difficult to find playing clean..is absolutely spot on. WI64 and WYWY the low-key tracks - beautifully clean. Expect nothing more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments. And that, folks, makes it incredibly unusual. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex) In very fine form and has clearly been looked after down the years. Front and back look impressive and seem to be devoid of creasing which is often exhibited. The interior is stunning - nigh on perfect. Edge wear is very light and the openings are still sharpish. The text on the spine is legible but there is some compression in places as is very common. Overall the cover sits very nice and flat and retains excellent rigidity.
Cut-Outs (Ex+) They feel pretty much 'as new'. No issues at all.
Inner (Ex+) No ageing. No splits or markings. It fees "crisp".
