I grade very strictly, both play grading and visual grading are used, Visual grading is based on inspection under both normal and extreme bright light, as you will see from my feedback I do normally get this right! The Beatles ‘Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band' UK MONO 1969 SINGLE EMI BOX PRESS
***OUTSTANDING COPY WITH MONO/STEREO HYBRID SLEEVE AND CARD CUT OUT SHEET***
In 1969 the last of the yellow and black Parlophone labels were pressed before moving on to the one box black and white label design, which were of course pressed in abundances for the dominant stereo format, however the mono format had not entirely been phased out at this stage, and only limited titles were still being given a release in mono, and pressed in far fewer quantities. 'Sgt Pepper's' was one such of these titles, and is now not an easy release to find in any condition let alone beautiful such as this one. This copy is housed in its original rarer mono/stereo hybrid sleeve and present with its intact card cut out sleeve and EMI advertising inner .

Condition:
Outer Sleeve: A superb example with almost nothing to fault. Crisp and square corners, very clean shiney surface, vibrant new looking colours,only one barely noticeable laminate crease to the front with two smaller ones to the back however these minor detractions do nothing to take away from a sleeve which would be near impossible to beat. Excellent Plus.
Side One/ Side Two: Both sides in normal light are unmarked and very clean, under bright intense light a few very light sleeve removal hairlines visable. Audio is rich and full powerful mono (please listen to the first track on the weblink provided above) light static evident in the quieter areas however a proffesional clean would certainly eliminate this. Excellent.
Labels: Two very clean examples with no writing or stickers and just a handful of light spindle trails to both sides. Has only received a number of careful plays over the 45 years. Excellent Plus.
Card cut out sheet: Near Mint.
Inner sleeve: Excellent.
