Description
Up for sale here is a copy of the classic beatles lp Sgt Pepper! However this is no ordinary pressing, this is the extremely rare fourth proof sleeve, this particular sleeve was never meant for public eyes as it was only created as a prototype. So therefor there are not many copies of this particular sleeve about at all!!
Record: VG- (lots of marks visible in photos, the record plays through with a reasonable amount of background noise, however doesn't distract from the music. No sticks or jumps.
Sleeve: G+/VG- (sleeve for the most part, the sleeve is quite clean, the inner gatefold is fantastic, there is a moderate amount of ware to the corners and edges, but nothing too major EXCEPT for the spine, unfortunately this poor condition, not to the point it is falling apart put there are some large tears and flaking SEE PICS.)
Inners: VG+/EX- ( the cardboard cut out is in fantastic shape however the inner sleeve, whilst still clean, has a tear to bottom edge and does have a tear to one of the folds SEE PICS.
Overall a nice record, but to be viewed as more of a collection filler. However is still an enjoyable listen and of course a rare piece of history!
