Description
An opportunity to get an absolutely superb copy of Sgt. Pepper in Excellent condition. This is a second pressing, produced (and bought by me) in 1969.

Side One:
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band; With A Little Help From My Friends; Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds; Getting Better; Fixing A Hole; She's Leaving Home; Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite.
Side Two:
Within You Without You; When I'm Sixty-Four; Lovely Rita; Good Morning, Good Morning; Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise); A Day In The Life.
All tracks are credited to Lennon and McCartney, except Within You, Without You (by George Harrison).
Condition:
Discs: I was tempted to describe the condition as Mint, but the disc has been played (I play every disc to check the condition), so I will only say that it is Excellent. There is almost no lessening in sound quality since new. Imperfections audible on my equipment were:
Side One: Very minor crackles during intro - barely noticeable.
Side Two: Tiny clicks at the beginning of Day In The Life.
Labels: Near-mint condition. Black Parlophone labels with 'The Gramophone Company...', but without 'Sold in the U.K...' notice - see image.
Sleeve: The gatefold sleeve is in Excellent condition, with almost no wear and tear.
Inner sleeve: Standard sepia-toned EMI advertising sleeve of the period, in Excellent condition with no sign of splits or tears, though it is lightly marked with the record name and catalogue number in ballpoint in one corner. I will also include a new poly-lined sleeve.
Insert: The 'Sgt Pepper's Band' cutout insert is in genuinely Mint condition - until I prepared it for sale, it had never been taken out of the sleeve. (I'm not sure I even knew it was there!)

EMI Catalogue: Parlophone PCS 7027 (stereo)
Matrix numbers: YEX 637-1; YEX 638-2
Mother numbers: 2. Not visible on Side 2.
Stamper codes: A; A-00.
(Note that some of these codes are very lightly pressed and difficult to read clearly, so I cannot guarantee that they are 100% accurate.)

Please note that all photos are my own unretouched scans, not stock shots. The scanning process causes Moiré patterning on the images of the disc - obviously these patterns don't actually appear on the disc itself.
