SGT. PEPPER’S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND
PMC 7027 MONO
Original 1967 mono LP with original red flame inner bag and dark green cut out insert.
Side 1 XEX 637-1 (6 RPA) Side 2: XEX 638-1 (4 RMM)
LABELS: There is evidence of spindle markings but not excessively so. This record has been played but looked after. KT on side 2. Side 1 has a name faintly written in dark ink at the top of the label and only visible when tilted towards light.
VINYL: The heavyweight, excellent looking vinyl is very clean and relatively unmarked. A few minor surface marks. Playback is EXCELLENT, really clear, sonic, mono sound, with just a few minor clicks here and there, nothing distracting. No skips or sticks.
COVER: The Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold cover with the double flipbacks inside is very clean EXCELLENT example. No writing, stickers or unsightly marks. Good, clear spine
The Peter Blake/Jann Haworth designed dark green insert with the cut outs is an excellent example with some slight handling marks only.
The original 1967, very fragile, red and white ‘flame’ inner bag is still a good example. It has been sellotaped on three sides and it is frayed slightly at the top.
