Description

The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band Mono LP (Vinyl) 1967
1967    Capitol    MAS 2653     Scranton first pressing.   
Cover - VG   Nice cover with light wear.  Nice spine.  The only issue being a 3 inch split on the top back gatefold.  (See pic)  First press cover with "A Little Help From My Friends" omitting "With" Does not have NEMS or Maclen Music credits on the back, lower right corner.  Original inner sleeve and insert. 

Vinyl - Visual grade VG.  Nice gloss with a fair amount of faint hairlines on both sides.  No deep scratches.  Nice labels.  "A Little Help From My Friends" on Side 1, omitting "With"  Play-tested.  Grading varies from VG+ to VG- to G+.  Side 1 starts out with light to moderate surface noise, then increases to moderate to heavy on the last 2 songs.  I'm guessing this is caused by inner groove damage.   Side 2 starts with moderate surface noise that increases to slightly heavy on the last song.   The whole album plays through very well and has nice fidelity.  75% of the album is a good listen and the rest is a fair listen.  This is a subjective opinion.  I have cleaned both sides with a cloth and record cleaning solution.  It's possible that a cleaning machine might improve the situation further, but I cannot guarantee that.
