The Beatles- Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.On 12" vinyl. Released by Parlophone in 1967.
Catalogue number PMC 7027- this is a mono 1st pressing. (XEX.637-1, XEX.638-1).
The centre label includes 'K T' stamped on side 1.
Includes a Garrod & Lofthouse fully laminated one piece gatefold cover, red half-tone print on white 'psychedelic' paper inner sleeve, and 'cut-outs' card insert (full-color, single-sided. Printed signatures of Peter Blake / Jann Haworth at foot).
The album title appears as "Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" on cover front & spine, but as "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" on labels.
A2 appears as "A Little Help From My Friends" on cover, but as "With A Little Help From My Friends" on label.
It is untested so sound quality is unknown. There are quite a few fine scratch marks and finger marks, which shouldn't affect sound too much likely some light popping. The inner label has some light wear from playing too with surface scratches.
The inner sleeve is the original- it has some brown discolouring, creasing and one small tear to the opening edge. The cut out insert is very good, with just some light scuffs to the bottom right edge and slight colour fading to the bottom left corner. The outer gatefold sleeve has some creases visible that have slightly lifted the laminate. Much of the creasing is concentrated around the spine, especially to the rear. There is some light wear to the corners as well, but overall very good for it's age.
A great example of this iconic album, and a must-have for a collector.
