An Australian press on the Parlophone label catalog # PCSO-7027 and made in Australia 1969
Comments:
This is a scarce 1969 Australian Re-issue of the Beatles landmark 1967 album Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club band.
Early copies of the Australian orange parlophone records were housed in imported UK gatefold mono sleeves with a stereo sticker placed on the laminated sleeve...see above photos. From December 1969 onward they were housed in the locally made single pocket sleeve. It also has the original sleeve insert and cardboard cut-out.
Note: Shipping costs are higher than normal because this record, gatefold cover, inserts and packaging weigh more than 500gms.
Condition:
Record: VG+
This record is very clean except for four small light marks that do not have an effect on the sound. It plays great loud and clean with no background noise. Label A has a sticker removal mark and a small tear. Label B is clean
Sleeve: E
This gatefold record cover is clean except for a few minor lamination bubbles on the back. Both sleeve insert and cut-outs are clean.
