Description
Following a move of house I need to reduce the size of my record collection and will be selling 100's of these in the coming weeks. Having had so much time at home has meant that I have been able to arrange the collection back into some semblance of order.
I am now offering classic records from 1960s onwards. All will be advertised together to help reduce postage per item for multiple buyers; I have a large number of other albums available; please look at the full list of items I am selling.
On offer here is a UK 1967 pressing of the stereo first pressing album 'Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band' by The Beatles on EMI/Parlophone Records PCS 7027 from 1967. The very clean vinyl is graded EX as it has no discernible blemishes to the playing surfaces; it may well be unplayed. The original sleeve is in VG+ order for age and the spine is fully legible. To avoid confusion this album has the runouts YEX 637-1 and YEX 638-1. The label is the standard yellow block Parlophone version and the rights message begins with "The Gramophone Co Ltd...". The label also has the "Sold in the UK..." statement with "Made in Great Britain"above the rights statement in the bottom 1/5 of the label. The sleeve is the Garrod and Lofthouse version and the original cutout is included. This first stereo pressing is rarely found in such pristine condition and is therefore one for the serious collector / investor.
