My partner has collected Music from the early 1970's and mostly even in the "Dark Days " on Vinyl and he has the most varied taste of any person I have ever met from Opera to his hero Nile Rogers he loves music 
I asked him to thin out his collection as he tends to buy and rarely open Vinyl Albums these days and whilst searching through ones he has had for many decades he found this one his Dad had bought and later gave him 
My partner will openly admit he likes many of the Beatles songs now but back then Tamla Motown and Artists like David Bowie ,Yes, Pink Floyd  and then Disco were more to his taste so this has moved home several times and been in amongst many others he forgot we even had ,when he found it he had no idea about the cover being so rare it was his friend Mark who pointed out the Fourth Proof printed on it .
We very rarely sell Albums that are not full factory sealed and even less that are close to 55 years old and we have a dislike of this ebay grading system as it's based on opinion what I think is good others may call very good and visa versa so we just tell it as we see it the good the bad and the ugly plus loads of photos .
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band 1967 UK first pressing 13-track MONO vinyl LP with 'Gramophone Co' & 'Sold In The UK' label credits,
Condition of the Album is it has not been played in many decades we have carefully cleaned it but nothing more than a very light handed clean with an anti static brush and purpose made micro fibre cloth 
 The Vinyl LP has no scratches but a few I believe what you call hairlines some light marks but you need to hold up to the light to seeks they are quite faint please see photos ,A few spindle marks around the centre hole to show it has been played but not to an excess he have not played it since he was given it in the 1970's , you can see by the photo's the label on both sides are in really good order and vivid colours .

The Sleeves with  "Fourth Proof " printed on them are it seems were for some of the first copies of Sgt Pepper to have been pressed at EMI much as a test run and were small in number being made up prior to the Album and covers going into full scale production and the Fourth proof copies were simply added in with the regular sleeves when the album was released ,nobody really it seems has an idea how many there were printed but considering how many versions there are of and how many copies that have sold of Sgt Pepper it's pretty miniscule amount 
Condition  of Album Cover  
Fully laminated internal flip back gatefold picture sleeve edition with 'patents pending' credit on the back along with the all important 'fourth proof' text on the back top flip back inside PMC7027
The Album cover has some wear and damage to the spine which has amounted to some loss in lettering to the title also some rubbing on the corners ,but colours are still good on front back and inside with only light signs of handling and no damage on these area's Still has the original red/pink psychedelic inner but sadly no sheet of cut-outs  please see photos as these will give you a much clearer idea of overall condition 
This is very much in the same condition as when my partners dad gave it to him near fifty years ago we keep all our vinyl's in Resealable Perspex covers for safe keeping we ship in heavyweight LP mailers signed for or fully tracked services this one will be by UPS 1-2 days Fully tracked as it's a rarity and also been in the family for now three generations so we care that it arrives safe and sound .
We know there are millions of Beatles fans and this belongs with a fan in their collection
