Description
Capitol Records ST2108 The Beatles Something New STEREO LP. Circa 1964 factory sealed Capitol Records RARE stereo LP with RIAA # 6 on the lower right back cover which indicates this LP was manufactured at the Capitol Records Los Angeles plant. Early Capitol Beatles stereo LPs' are rare in comparison to mono LPs that were produced in far greater numbers in the early 1960's, this trend would reverse in the mid to late 1960's as stereo would became the desired format. This LP lacks the stereo needle information on the bottom but has the Capitol Records early 1964 dark "Royal blue" color inner sleeve visible with through the shrink wrap at the open end side indicating a 1964 pressing, the LP inside will have the correct early Capitol rainbow label on the record. This Something New STEREO LP is fully sealed with SEARS Hi FI store price sticker, two factory breathe holes on back and two on front, light shrink wrap wear only, small 1/4" shrink tear on front, no seam splits, no edge wear, overall a very nice RARE STEREO 1964 Capitol Records LP. This scarce stereo Beatles Something New LP will make be a great addition to your collection! This sealed LP will be properly packed in an oversize sturdy secure record box and will require signature confirmation. VA residents are required to pay state sales tax.
