Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - The White Album' 1968 FIRST complete stereo pressing!
This particular pressing is the first UK stereo pressing from 1968. It is COMPLETE. It comes with the original numbered gatefold sleeve, black inner sleeves, poster and individual portrait photos of the band.

Condition:
Vinyl (visual): Side 1 - light hairlines with no feelable marks, lovely and clean with a nice gloss and shine! Rated as VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT-. Label is VERY GOOD+.
Side 2 - same as Side 1 with a few more light, non-feelable hairlines. Easily rated VERY GOOD+. Label, KT tax code, is EXCELLENT.
Side 3 - same as Side 2.
Side 4 - more hairline marks and scratches than the other sides but all non-feelable. Rated as VERY GOOD. Label is EXCELLENT.
Audio: I have listened to the first two songs on all sides ONLY!! There is some light crackle on the run-ins but fades quickly when the music starts. Rich, crispy, warm analog sound! Easily rated as VERY GOOD+ and a clean would make it EXCELLENT! Really nice playing record and sounds great.
Inner Sleeves: Original black inner sleeves are in FAIR condition. Both have creasing and some seam splits. One of the sleeves is ripped across the front. They still house the records really well.
Poster: The original fold-out poster is 100% present but is split into six 12" squares. Could be easily and neatly repaired but I won't attempt. It has some light creasing in places and light discolouration.
Portrait Photos: The four original 1968 portrait prints are in VERY GOOD+ condition. They have some scratches on them, light edge creasing and slight discolouration due to age but these original 1968 portraits really are something else. Way better than the reproduction prints offered in later pressings.
Sleeve: The original 1968 gatefold sleeve is in VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ condition. The front is clean and has a nice shine with edgewear towards the top gatefold opening. Light ringwear and light discolouration due to age. The rear of the sleeve is clean with light laminate creasing, slight ringwear and edgewear. The inner gatefold is clean with fully intact flipbacks, held firmly down. Spine is 100% readable with some discolouration and light creasing - strong spine though.
I'll be sad to see this one go!
