Description
- Up for sale is this RARE factory pre-recorded 4 track reel to reel tape of "The Beatles Vol. 1" released on Ampex Tapes in early 1970 in The United States. This tape & "Vol. 2" are the only official releases with edited versions due to the "Paul Is Dead" rumors that started in 1969. There are edited versions of "Dear prudence", "Glass Onion", "Don't Pass Me By" & "Why Don't We Do It In The Road". The shortened times are on the label. The 7 1/2 IPS sounds great & complete on my Akai player with no drop outs & plenty of leader tape on both sides. The box is in excellent condition with no corner splits & a little rub wear to the front slick & back slicks. The factory reel & label are also in excellent condition. Thanks Frank
