The first of a few original pressing mono Beatles albums from the attic that I'll be listing as I get round to them. I am not a record dealer, but will describe these albums as accurately as I can.  I would think that an overall rating of VG or VG+ could be applied to this album.  For the discs the descriptions will be based on both visual examination and by me listening to them. Please refer to the photos, which form part of the description of each part of the album package.
This is a complete early UK pressing (Nov 1968 I believe) of The Beatles White Album.  This is the Mono pressing, catalogue number PMC 7067 and PMC 7068.  The sleeve number is 0098698.
Sleeve
The Garrod and Lofthouse fully-laminated top-opening sleeve I would certainly rate as VG+.  It appears better than most others that I've seen on eBay.  It is quite a cream colour, as is normal due to age.  The front has just a few very minor marks, including a thin 15 cm scratch on the left hand side near the spine.  'The BEATLES' in raised letters shows a very small amount of browning - see photo.  The sleeve number No.0098698 is stamped near the bottom right-hand corner.  The inside is extremely clean.  There is a small light water stain on the fold near Ringo's photo, which extends to the back, but this is does not detract, and the rear of the sleeve is very clean.  The laminate has cracked on the spine, but the grey text 'The BEATLES' and 'Stereo PCS 7067-8 Mono PMC 7067-8' are legible.
Inner sleeves
The original die-cut black inners  are present.  One is in very good condition, with just a couple of marks, but no tears.  The second has a couple of small tears (longest 1 cm) at the centre hole, but no paper missing.  This one has also torn/worn through at the side edges, 13 cms one side and 9cms the other.
Labels/pressing/matrix/stamper details and disc condition
Side 1 PMC 7067 Matrix XEX 709-1 Stamper 3 TA Dark green Apple label.  'An E.M.I. Recording' is NOT printed on this label. The disc has several light surface scratches.  When played there are a few pops and crackles here and there, notably at the end of 'Dear Prudence', but there was nothing the spoiled the listening experience.  The stylus did not skip, jump or stick.
Side 2 PMC 7067 Matrix XEX 710-1 Stamper 3 TH 'An E.M.I. Recording' is NOT printed on this label. The disc has quite a few surface scratches, but most are very light.  When played there are a few pops and crackles here and there, notably at the beginning of 'Martha My Dear' and in the transition from 'I'm So Tired' into 'Blackbird', but there was nothing the spoiled the listening experience.  The stylus did not skip, jump or stick.
Side 3 PMC 7068 Matrix XEX 711-1 Stamper 2 GM Dark green Apple label.  This label DOES have the text 'An E.M.I. Recording', which is what I think puts the date of this pressing at November 1968 when this text began to be added. Disc has some surface scratches and a couple of pressing imperfections, and although there are a some pops and crackles, there was nothing the spoiled the listening experience.  The stylus did not skip, jump or stick.
Side 4 PMC 7068 Matrix XEX 712-2 Stamper 3 GMA This label DOES have the text 'An E.M.I. Recording'.  It also has the raised letters K and T either side of the centre hole. As with Side 3, Disc has some surface scratches and a couple of pressing imperfections, and although there are a some pops and crackles, there was nothing the spoiled the listening experience.  The stylus did not skip, jump or stick (although with 'Revolution 9' it's hard to be 100% sure...).
Portrait photos
The 4 colour portrait photos are all present.  Paul and Ringo's photos each have a single crease across the face approximately half way down. There is a small amount of very light brown spotting to the white edges, notably to the bottom right edge of the photos of John, but this is really very minor.
Poster/Lyric sheet
Complete and unmarked, with no holes, rips or tape marks.
