Description
The Beatles White Album 1968 UK Mono Press 0107155 VG+/VG+
I can't find the exact matrix numbers on Discogs so can't say which exact pressing this is, but I suspect 2nd 'technically'! #0107155, toploading cover, 'An EMI Recording' on all four labels.
Matrices:
- Matrix / Runout (Label side A): XEX 709-1 3J3 MO
- Matrix / Runout (Label side B): XEX 710-1 3 MT
- Matrix / Runout (Label side C): XEX 711-1 5 GDG
- Matrix / Runout (Label side D): XEX 712-1 1 G
I have attached a lot of very clear images of all the items which give an accurate overall representation of the condition of everything. I'm using the Goldmine grading and the cover rates as VG+, but see what you think. I think it's probably more fair to say it's between VG and VG+ personally.
The vinyl is all great. There are a few hairlines but the vinyl looks and plays a strong VG+. There is some 'static-like' crackle which can be heard at the beginnings of the records and between tracks but it's nothing unusual or distracting and there are no pops or clicks anywhere.
The 4 photos are in Ex condition.
The poster is in Ex condition (a real beauty actually).
The black inner sleeves are quite rough with tears, seam splits etc. Between G and G+ I would say but, again, please have a good look at all the images : )
