Description
The Beatles: White Album, № 0029340, Mono, UK 1968.
Because it just sits on the shelf doing nothing, I'm flogging this early first pressing of The Beatles' 1968 White Album, Apple Records PMC 7067/8. Garrod & Lofthouse top loading gatefold sleeve, number 0029340, mono version, with original black inners and record markings as follows:
- Vinyl run off matrices Record 1 side 1: XEX 709-1
- Vinyl run off matrices Record 1 side 2: XEX 710-1
- Vinyl run off matrices Record 2 side 3: XEX 711-1
- Vinyl run off matrices Record 2 side 4: XEX 712-1
- Vinyl run off stampers Record 1 side 1: 4 GH
- Vinyl run off stampers Record 1 side 2: 3 MR
- Vinyl run off stampers Record 2 side 3: 3 LA
- Vinyl run off stampers Record 2 side 4: 7 LT
Overall condition is very good, there are quite a few small scratches and some smudges on the discs, but they play fine and without skips, with acceptable levels of noise for a used forty year old record, in my opinion. One of the inners has a little tear at the top, and the cover shows some fading and other signs of age. You can click on the pictures for some more detailed 3 megapixel photographs, which will open in a new window.
The poster and photographs are missing, unfortunately. I had them stuck up on my wall when I was younger and too stupid to realise I should have kept them safe somewhere.

2. If your country isn't listed even though it's in Europe, that's because the courier service I'm using to ship the item, Hermes, doesn't operate where you live. I can still send you the item, but since for security reasons it'll have to be insured and registered via alternative methods, please contact me before placing any bids, so I can work out your shipping costs.
3. If you're not in Hermes' "Europe" or greater Europe, i.e. somewhere in Asia, the Americas, or Africa, for instance, please consider placing any bids really, really carefully. Theoretically, I could still send you the item, but I either won't be able to give you any guarantees about it actually getting to you, or you'll have to pay through your nose for insured and recorded delivery, meaning around $55 US, and that's not even air mail.
