The Beatles / White Album 12” Double LP
1968 UK MONO 1st pressing on Apple Records
PMC 7067-8
XEX 709-1 / 710-1 / 711-1 / 712-1 Matrix numbers.
K&T tax stamps on both records
Complete with Poster , 4 glossy photos of each band member & black inner sleeves.
VERY LOW MISPRINTED NUMBER - No. 0004 73
This is clearly a number not number 473 and actually in the 4000’s but hasn’t been printed properly as all UK 1st numbered sleeves normally have 7 digits.. regardless of that it’s still a very low number!
Record 1 side 1 is close to EX with some very light surface marks but nothing harsh or “feelable”
Record 1 side 2 is VG/VG+ and has a couple of light hairline marks but nothing harsh again , plays fine with some light background noise in quieter parts and slight pops in areas..
Record 2 side 3 is VG and has a few light Visible surface mark bur again nothing harsh or “feelable” plays fine.
Record 2 side 4 again is VG/VG+ and has some light visible surface marks but nothing “feelable”
Both records are housed in original black inner sleeves which have some creasing and one has a couple of splits.
All 4 glossy band photos are in EX condition
The poster is in one piece but has some splits in the original folds.
The main attraction of this record the laminated gatefold toploader sleeve is in a conservative VG+ condition and solid with some creasing to the laminate in areas and yellowing as pictured..
Overall a great example of a very rare LOW numbered record , with no reserve! Bud with confidence.
