Description
I play all my records from beginning to end prior to auction on my Garrard 401 record player using a Shure V15 cartridge. This is set very lightly so any imperfections in a record will be heard.
Here I have a copy of the ' The Beatles ' 1968 release ' White Album'.
The record is an early issue UK stereo pressing on the green Apple labels.
Cat no : PCS 7067 / 8. The matrix YEX 709-1 710-3 711-1 712-2
Grading :
I've played all 4 sides of the record and it grades as EX. Under my light there is virtual no sign of play. The record plays wonderfully with with no distortion, heavy or repetitive clicks and certainly no skips or jumps.
The gatefold outside laminated stereo cover is very glossy and white with just the scuff mark. It grades EX condition. Hardly any wear to the extremities. The spine text is fully legible showing both Stereo and Mono catalogue numbers. The embossed 'The Beatles' can be clearly seen to the front but no number is present. The poster and 4 photo's are similarly in excellent condition very crisp with no signs of use.
