Description

An original STEREO copy of WTB on the UK Parlophone label from 1965. Matrix 2/2 - which is the 1st cut. Stampers 2-MO/2-MH. The labels give away that this copy comes from 1965 at the height of Beatlemania. Note how the album title is in a bolder [wider] font than copies from a couple of years later ["With The Beatles" - extends beyond the inner impression groove/circle]. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original small 'stereo' cover printed by Garrod & Lofthouse. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) Wow, this is one superbly preserved copy and has only seen the lightest use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of very light marks per side. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. An easy one to grade....because the audio is borderline faultless. Beautifully clear highs and lows...you can hear all the instrumentation with great positioning. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Interference is totally absent. I will so my usual catch-all and mention you might detect a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments. 
Cover (Ex-) In lovely condition and has clearly been looked after down the years. That iconic image on the front looks great with little signs of ageing an just a couple of creases over toward the opening. The rear has escaped most of the usual ageing that afflicts these covers. Please note there's a signature written neatly in the top left corner. Edge wear is light and the spine is 100% intact. Please note that there's a one inch wear-through patch right in the middle of the top edge. We have secured it internally successfully and as a result it's largely cosmetic [i.e. no big deal]. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits though.
