1964 German 1st pressing ODEON stereo LP STO 83739

A megarare item In fantastic condition, and massively rare like this! This is the first pressing German ODEON stereo pressing of A HARD DAY'S NIGHT, with distinctive (different) cover artwork, on the megarare ODEON red, white and gold ALLE RECHTE labels. Impossible to find now, especially in this condition!!

A massive rarity in any condition, this simply never turns up for sale now, but especially as nice as this! Just do a search of Ebay's completed listings. You won't find this as a first pressing. Occasionally a later HOR ZU blue label pressing will turn up, but never this 1st pressing red, white and gold, "ALLE RECHTE" ZTOX label-rim text ODEON stereo pressing. This is the earliest possible pressing of this, bought on release!! Bought primarily by UK servicemen based in Germany in the 1960s, they sold in very low numbers for Beatles records, they are much, much rarer than their UK counterparts. This is a fantastic copy, with minimal wear to the vinyl, a superb-looking example which has to grade at least EXCELLENT. No serious marks, no scratches, a beautiful sheen, you will struggle to find a nicer copy than this, giving superb STEREO audio throughout. The sleeve is similarly superb, free from major wear, no heavy creasing, discoloration, graffiti, splits, nothing to note beyond very mild ageing to the unlaminated rear, with the original gold STEREO sticker to the upper-left corner. A stunning example.
