BEATLES Yesterday and Today LP . . . . . . Here is a "Holy Grail" LP for Beatles collectors - an authentic 3rd State (peeled) stereo Butcher Cover. Unlike many you see listed on eBay, this one has been professionally peeled revealing a great full image with no distracting/ugly flaws, a great peel job! The Stereo version of the Butcher Cover is many times more rare than the Mono, with far fewer pressed than the Mono during the time period of 1966 when this title was released. This is the L.A. pressing with '5' on lower right back cover and "*" in the dead wax area of vinyl.
Condition:
Front of Jacket:
Front peeled Butcher image presents very nicely. Light horizontal factory glue lines from the trunk slick adhesive process are present but don't interfere with overall eye appeal. Overall great peel job, the band is not touched by flaws. Some minor pro touch up is limited to upper left corner and on upper right edge.
Back Of Jacket:
The back of the jacket has some light foxing stains and name written in ink, repair at bottom seam.
Seams:
Seams have been neatly repaired to fix some splitting, spine label still readable.
Vinyl:
Vinyl is shiny and clean, VG/VG+ with some faint hairlines, plays great with some light crackle
Inner Sleeve:
Original 1966 Orange Capitol Inner sleeve in VG+/Excellent shape.
