Description
This record is the rare "Butcher Cover" paste over copy of Capitol T-2553 (monaural).
The cover and record is in excellent condition. The album still has the original protective celophane cover and the cover design looks mint .
The back of the album shows slight rub marks from storage. The mark follows approximately 3/4 of the circle of the record's edge. A small hole has been pierced through the 'C" of the Capitol Logo in the upper left hand corner of the album.
The record itself has no scratches or marks. It looks like it has had very little play, if any.
The" Butcher" cover underneath can be seen in the white area adjacent to the trunk and by Ringos' elbow.
By turning the cover to differrent light one can see the dark color of Ringo's shirt, the lapels on his butcher smock, and just barely, the outline of his face. This is difficult to capture in a photo, but it is there.
