Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is the eighth studio album by the English rock band The Beatles. Released on 1 June 1967, it was an immediate commercial and critical success, spending 27 weeks at the top of the albums chart in the United Kingdom and 15 weeks at number one in the United States. Time magazine declared it "a historic departure in the progress of music" and the New Statesman praised its elevation of pop to the level of fine art. It won four Grammy Awards in 1968, including Album of the Year, the first rock LP to receive this honour.

Matrix XEX 637-1 mothers and stampers 1 OD / XEX 638-1 mothers and stampers 3 above a 5 [?] MG.
Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band vinyl lp. Vinyl is Side 1 Excellent / Side 2 Very Good. The vinyl is quite glossy with a number of light surface marks more notably on Side 2. Side 1 plays to a standard Excellent grade. There is a long mark on Side 2 which causes light not continuous throughout the mark but yet again not always short lived pops.
Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd gatefold wide spine Sleeve is Good+. There are 3 and 4.5 cm spine splits at the top and bottom but otherwise there are much more minor imperfections. There is the original price sticker on the front from Rackhams. The wide spine is 8mm wide and is fully legible. The inner sleeve is a white paper inner sleeve - almost certainly not the original.
NB No cutouts.

Summary:- Decent listenable audio with flaws which is accompanied with the rare wide spine sleeve but without cutouts and red/white fool inner.
This has been cleaned on a Okki Nokki RCM FREE for the buyer.
Grading system used:-
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Near Mint (NM) The record looks brand new with no scuffing or any deterioration in sound quality and only the smallest hint that its ever been played. The cover and any additional extras are clean, crisp and with no wear whatsoever.
Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair (F) The record is still just about playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or
defaced.
Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
