Description
For sale is the With the Beatles album released by The Beatles. This is the rare Australian mono version with black and gold Parlophone labels. After an initial very short run with this label, the album was thereafter released with the usual black and yellow Parlophone labels.
Condition:
Disc: Very Good / Very Good + : Visually, I identified some surface marks / scuffs, some spindle wear, no warps, no fogging etc. During playback, the record had a surprisingly nice bright sound to it. Some crackle noise in the more quiet transitional parts, but nothing overwhelming. Almost non-noticeable during the music itself (slightly more noticeable towards the last songs). No skips or repeats, and from memory no clicks etc (if there was, it must've been very rare because I don't recall hearing any). Given its age and visual grade, its playback grade could be easily Very Good ++ / Excellent -. I have given it a more conservative grade to account for its visual appearance).
Cover: Fair + / Good - : I've given the cover a very conservative grading based on its visual appearance. Deficits are a small split (pictured in a photo), two bits of writing on the back of the cover, general ring wear and bends / scuffing / marks. The pictures give more useful condition information, as some might alternatively classify this as Very Good minus.
