Description
The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the vinyl I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
The Beatles-"Please Please Me" LP, Parlophone PMC 1202, 3rd Mono pressing (first pressing with the new Parlophone logo), released in 1963.
Side 1 Matrix: XEX 421-1N, with "AG" at the 3 o'clock position and "2" at the 9 o'clock position.
Side 2 matrix: XEX-422-1N, with "ML" at the 3 o'clock position and "1" at the 9 o'clock position.
Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in VG condition; each side has several marks, none of which would appear to cause any problems with play. Both sides still retain their full gloss. There is a name in the pound insignia on the side 2 label. The cover is in VG/VG+ condition, showing some mostly light general age wear, nothing severe. The corners are soft and the back shows a little foxing. All flipbacks are intact. Includes an original Emitex inner sleeve, showing wear. Classic Beatles, in overall very nice shape.
