Description

September 5th, 1964 Japanese release on beautiful red wax vinyl. The first pressing of the first Beatles LP to be released in Japan. Confirmed as first pressing by the following factors: 1. It's priced at 1,800 Yen on the sleeve and NO other release had this price. In fact, the second and 3rd pressings dropped the price to 1,750 Yen. 2. On the centre label of the record, the words 'Long Playing' are printed at the bottom of the label. On all other Odeon pressings of this LP, those words were removed for some reason.

Original LP, cover sleeve,  inner sleeve and insert sheet. Obi no longer present. 
VG++ Vinyl VG Sleeve (Handles nicely) EX+ Inner sleeve (an Ever Clean record bag sleeve which was used by Odeon quite often in the early 1960's) VG- Insert (age staining and wear to edges)
