The Beatles/Marley/Status Quo/Shadows: 20 Vinyl LPs. Some G/F; 1st Press. Pls Rd.

This is a bundle of 20 Vinyl Albums, of various conditions and editions; some with original inners, some without. I’d describe most as Good to Good Plus, with some better than that, and a small number perhaps worse.

Many are first press editions, inc some of the Beatles records, in original sleeves.

This bundle was acquired in a house clearance, which accounts for the variable condition, along with the fact that none have been play tested, as I simply don’t have the time. Thus, this is a no return bundle.

I do usually play test my record sales, as my 100% positive feedback demonstrates, but in this case, I don’t have the time (nor does my wife have the patience to listen through them), so please ensure you are aware of that before bidding. As I’ve already mentioned, but just to be clear, there is no return available on this auction.

Given the above information, the gradings below are visual only, with vinyl and labels graded first, inner sleeve (were applicable) second, and outer sleeve third.

I will give as much information as possible, from a visual perspective, pointing out any obvious/significant floors were relevant/applicable.

WITH THE BEATLES: (Dominion Credit). (2nd Mono Press. ‘Jobete’ credit was 1st press)

Good. hairlines/marks etc. Nothing feelable). ‘Kath White’ to side 1&2 labels, with scratches & spindle marks.

Aged and yellowing non original inner.

Sleeve is Poor. Some rips, graffiti, creasing, scuffing etc. Not good at all.

447-6N & 448-5N

BEATLES FOR SALE: (1st Mono Press)

G+. Hairlines/marks, though nothing heavy.

Some minor marks to labels both sides.

No inner sleeve.

Sleeve has split to bottom of spine; the inner g/f has some creasing, and dirt/mould (?) to flip back top.

503-4N & 504-3N

HELP: (2nd Mono Press)

VG. Very minor/very few hairlines, notable mark to side one and two, though not heavy/feelable.

Labels generally clean and bright, though with some spindle ware to side 2, along with KT Tax Code.

Non original inner sleeve is aged, with tape repair.

Sleeve has significant creasing/feathering, with marks/dirt/ware to rear.

549-2 & 550-2

RUBBER SOUL (2nd Mono Press)

VG. Some hairlines/marks, though nothing heavy/feelable.

Labels clean and bright with just minor spindle ware. KT Tax Code to Side 2.

Original Emitex inner. Some seem splitting.

Sleeve has significant creasing to opening, and feathering/tares/rips. Graffiti to rear. ‘Steve’s’.

579-4 & 580-4.

REVOLVER (2nd Press: Dr Robert to sleeve/Doctor Robert to label)

G+. Visible hairlines/marks/scratches, though nothing heavy/feelable.

Labels reasonably clean and bright with KT Tax Code to Side 1.

Non original inner VG.

Sleeve is G+, and would be VG+ if not for what looks like paint to top rear.

505-2 & 606-2

PEPPER (No inserts) 1st Mono Press

G+. Minor visible hairlines/marks, though nothing heavy.

Labels have some spindle ware, and a ‘4’ sticker to side 2, along with KT Tax Code.

Non original inner sleeve is VG.

No cut-out inner or red & white inner.

G/F sleeve has significant scuffing/ware to spine, and sticker mark to front.

637-1 & 638-1.

ABBEY ROAD (No Her Majesty to rear or label). 1st Pressing.

G+, with more notable marks/scratches to side 2, though nothing feelable.

Labels are spindle free, though has ‘Stephen Turneck’ in red ink to both labels.

Non original inner also has the same name written on it.

Sleeve has dirt and creasing, with scuffing to spine.

749-2 & 750-1.

Plain white ‘patent’ inner superb.
