This listing is for a rare and stunning vinyl pressing of the 5th album by The Beautiful South.  Released in 1996 not many of these were sold on vinyl with only this pressing made globally and never re-issued since.  Amazing sounding album for audiophiles and featuring the classic tracks Don't Marry Her and Rotterdam, every vinyl collection should have a Beautiful South LP for those lazy Sunday afternoons.
Act fast as this collectors piece will not be around for long.
Please check out my other listings for other rarities and classics across various genres.
All of my records are play tested on a Technics SL-1200 with a Grado GF3 stylus which is quite revealing so any sound defects may be more exaggerated than on other more mainstream players.  Or conversely if you are a full on audiophile I will let you judge how your set up compares and how you envisage the sound will compare.
I don't currently have access to a cleaning machine so please forgive any dust or finger marks which are on any of my records - hopefully will be investing in one at some point.
Record Appearance - VG+/NM Lovely looking record.  Side 1 has a couple of whisper lines but Side 2 is flawless and easily NM.  Bright glossy finish to both sides.  Labels are in great condition and despite being dark only have a minor spindle marks under a bright light, and a small pressure tear from manufacture.
Record Audio - VG+ Again very close to NM just very minor surface noise on run in and in between tracks but I think is likely just dust in the groove from lack of use, a machine clean would restore perfection I believe.  The audio when in full flow is wonderful, big rich sound throughout, a great listen.  One of those artists that are just made to be enjoyed on vinyl.  Just listening to the track "Have Fun", not a track I have heard before but its great and just fills the room.
Record Sleeve - VG+ Again very close to NM but as it is a collectors piece I do not want to oversell the condition so being cautious.  Edges and spine are very clean just a couple of specs of shelf wear and the occasional crease visible under a bright light.  Titles are fully legible and spine has good structure.  No sign of ring wear under a bright light due to matt finish of sleeve and only a couple of small indentations on the rear.  Still has the original warning sticker for bad language, if you are not familiar with the album version of Don't Marry Her it is quite a shock.  Original lyric inners are present and in close to mint condition, no damage or marks.  Records also come in a plain white inner with a high quality PVC dust cover to protect your investment.
All questions answered and offers considered.  Thanks for looking and please follow me and check out my other listings as they appear.  I work full time and have 3 children so please forgive any delay in communication but should be within 24 hours.
