Description

Lovely copy of the 1961 pressing of Ella’s Best of double-LP on Decca DXB-156. Black and rainbow label pressing, with a rare tour program as an added bonus. This program didn’t originally come with the record but apparently the original owner had seen her in concert and bought this record at the same time, and kept them together. Anyhow both discs are just beautiful and play flawlessly and just beautifully. A few very very light superficial sleeve scuffs but barely. There are also a few of those superficial spots that sometimes come from the acid in the paper sleeves, but they are not damage or wear of any sort. Barely noticeable. These are just stunning discs and they sound perfect. The cover has light shelfwear and small signs of age and gentle use, but is really in quite lovely shape with no seam splits and no bent, bumped, or rubbed corners. Really a nice copy all around, hard to beat!
