Description: 1957 mono 1st press on Chess Records. Has the black label with deep groove on both sides. 8646/8647 etching in run off wax. This is not a record where quality copies come up for sale often. These tend to vanish into collections and not hit the market.
Sleeve Condition: VG+, sleeve has great color, presents very well. No splits or tears or major ring wear, spine is very readable. Nice original gloss. Does have a bit of paper wear near the bottom edge, but not too bad. Back is not quite as nice. It has some scuffing and minor discoloration in a few small spots. Also has some numbers written by specific tracks. There is a vintage blank inner sleeve included. I do not know if this is original or not, but in case it is, I am including it. Even with the small bits of wear, I think this jumps the bar to a pretty solid VG+
Vinyl: VG+/VG++, visually this very clean. There are no noticeable scuffs or scratches. There is some light hazing in couple of small spots, which could probably be deep cleaned away. I have play tested the LP and it sounds great, music comes through clean and clear. No pops, skips, etc. Labels are both very clean with a little bit of spindle wear on side 2. No writing or fading. This has clearly been well cared for. Just great condition overall. You'll be very pleased with this one. Don't miss grabbing it today!
**Note: This will be shipped in protected record shipper with the vinyl outside the sleeve to keep it in as good of shape as it's in now**
