Description

This is a 2-record LP set privately produced by Tom Clear of recordings by the violinist Guila Bustabo, consisting of all her commercial recordings: Sibelius & Paganini concertos and 12 short  works, many from wartime German issues.  Also included is a Bruch Concerto  with Mengelberg  and the Concertgebouw in 1940, that has appeared on LP and CD; original recording supplied by me.  Clear offered this set, one to a customer in 1975 for $6!  He said he would not repress his initial edition of 250.   It does not appear in Canfield's listing; Larry Jones  of Polyphony says he has not seen it in 30  years of business, so it must be extremely rare.   The discs and album are in excellent condition, and notes are  included.  You will likely never see this album offered again.  To the person who wins, I will also include a CD-R of a Beethoven concerto Bustabo played with Mengelberg.   Shipped by registered mail.
