Description
This is a copy of the LP Mr. Tambourine Man by The Byrds, UK issue from 1965 on CBS SBPG 62571 / 62571 / CS 9172).
The stamped matrices are SBPG 62571-1A-1 and SBPG 62571-1B-1
The vinyl is in Excellent condition with no scuffs, scratches or other blemishes. The labels are clean with no writing, stickers, stains or scuffs. There are a couple of very faint spindle lines on each label.
The front-laminated cover is in Excellent condition. There are no tears, stickers, scuffs, shelf wear, ring wear, tape, splits or writing. There are just a few tiny brown specks on the back (near the bottom of the opening) and a small chip out of the print on the front (near the top of the opening). The spine is perfectly readable and the cardboard feels crisp and fresh.
The generic, poly-lined, white paper inner sleeve has a few faint handling creases.

Hi, yes I wondered about these. I was going by the Discogs website for the dates but I know that the information on there isn't 100% reliable. I'll see if I can find anything definitive elsewhere. Brian.
Great thanks. The laminated sleeves without flip backs and just a thin strip of laminate on the right hand side on the back are generally 1967 or 68 onwards so the Mr tambourine man is certainly from that era rather than 65. Younger than yesterday certainly came with a flip back, which is why I don’t think this is a first.
