Description

A UK 1st pressing on the CBS label from 1968. Matrix A2/B2. Please note the label on side 1 is textured and this is certainly suggestive of an early copy. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Ernest J Day printed cover. Please note there's a stereo sticker on the rear which is also indicative of an early copy. Also included is the original CBS advertising inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex) In superb shape and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet. The audio comes across with great clarity and minimal interference. We could only detect a touch of light static in a couple of isolated moments. These light acoustic numbers are delivered with excellent precision and detail.
Cover (Ex+) In truly stunning condition. I can't think that there are too many original examples knocking around in this kind of condition. Perfect shiny front cover and a rear almost totally free from fading. Edge wear is almost non-existent. The spine is 100% intact and overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Difficult to imagine bettering really..
Inner (Ex+) Remarkable condition. Perfectly intact - no rips or markings.
