Buddy Holly & the Crickets
The CHIRPING CRICKETS 1959/60? reissue Brunswick BL 54038
VINYL: VG: play grades a very enjoyable VG there is a relatively light scratch at the very end of "Maybe Baby" Into the 1st 1/3 of "It's too Late" that causes light pops. There are other lesser defects however I thought every track sounded VG or better, mostly better.
SLEEVE: VG- : I made a copy of a scuffed off area, on a printer & glued it over the scuffed off part on & above Jerry Allison's head. There is a about a 3/4" square piece of tape over the R&I of "Crickets". There are 2 faded stamps reading "student activities". There is a "no.8" in ink. I also did so invisible glue repair along the top edge & less than 1" of glue repair at the center of the bottom edge. Please see picture.
SIDE 1 LABEL: has remnants of a sticker at the top center.
ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE: VG+
& an additional generic rounded poly inner

EX Plays just short of NM
VG+ Used but not abused. Will have some audible imperfections but no serious problems.
VG A well used record that still sounds OK but will have some pops &/or surface noise but nowhere near the volume of the music
VG- A very worn record that plays through without repeating or has a skip that loses more than a couple of notes/words.
It will have defects that will be noted.
