Here’s a rare doo-wop 45 by The Cardinals with Eddie C. Campbell and Band – Chaney / Baby You Nag on Marina Records (record states “A Universal Enterprises Production RA3-9003 Chgo., Ill. 60621”). Record details: side A: Chaney (M. Brown, H. Hope, N. Palm) 2:43 122164-A side B: Baby You Nag (M. Brown, H. Hope, N. Palm) 2:27 122164-B. As you can see in the photo, record has a hole drilled through it and writing on the b-side label. Record is visually graded G- and plays G+ - there are a lot of small scratches and scuffs on both sides and while it has surface noise, it plays better than it looks and has no cracks nor skips.
DISCLAIMER: I recently listed this 45 and sold it for $150 - the buyer did not accept it because he noted it skipped on his turntable. I have since played it 3 times - it does not skip on my turntable, and that's with absolutely no tracking adjustments. So while it doesn't skip on my turntable, there is a chance that it may skip on other turntables. I will even include a CD of both the A- and B- side from my turntable to the winning bidder.
