What a rare find!
This is either the test press for their first album "Offering" or the 1970 reissue entitled "Ticket to Ride". The label makes no mention of an album title. I've provided the matrix numbers for reference.
Monarch test pressing. The label is simply marked Carpenters on Side II and only Side I on the first side. Side 1 Matrix #'s A&M SP4309(RE-1) -15 (MR in a circle) a Pyrmaid13936. Side 2 Matrix #'s A&M SP4310(RE-1) -15 (MR in a circle) a Pyrmaid13936-X. It comes in a generic style cover with a center area cut cutout (12" single style cover). The paper sleeve it came with has song titles written on it as well as a note to Bill - "Reaction So Far for single "A" Side All of My Life "B" Side Your Wonderful Parade (w/o introduction). The paper sleeve is torn, missing some paper and split but is a great artifact that goes well with the record and gives some insight to this piece. The record comes in a new MoFi sleeve for protection and the old paper sleeve is included as well. Condition wise the vinyl is in VG- (Very Good Minus) shape. Sleeve and paper marks throughout the vinyl. Far from mint, but its a rare collectible piece from one of if not the best pressing plants, Monarch.
