The "Chirping" Crickets

Item Description
The "Chirping" Crickets was the first Buddy Holly LP, issued in November 1957 by Brunswick Records. The item offered here does NOT have the texturing on the outer sleeve and comes complete with the Coral Brunswick inner sleeve. The record labels are black with silver inscriptions.
Side 1 includes Oh, Boy!, Not Fade Away, You've Got Love, Maybe Baby, It's Too Late and Tell Me How.
Side 2: That'll Be The Day, I'm Lookin' For Someone To Love, An Empty Cup, Send Me Some Lovin', Last Night and Rock Me My Baby.
Condition: I am not an expert at grading LPs but I have studied the Goldmine Grading System and here is my assessment.
The record itself I would grade as Very Good. There are a number of scuffs and small scratches, some of which are audible although they do not overpower the music. Surface luster is good and the vinyl does not appear to have faded. There are no markings on the labels and photographs of them are shown below.
The outer sleeve would also grade as Very Good by Goldmine standards. There are some small scratches and some scuffing on the front side, none of which is visible when looking directly at the sleeve. There is some toning on the back and a very small liquid stain at the top. A 5-inch separation of front and back exists on the top edge but no effort has been made to repair this. There are no markings or tape remnants on the outer sleeve. Photographs are shown below.
The inner sleeve shows considerable toning and a couple of creases. There is a 1-inch separation in the center of one side. Other than that, there are no markings or tears. See photograph below.
