Description

Train in Vain was a "hidden" track on the London Calling LP, and when it started getting airplay, CBS records quickly printed up stickers letting people know the track was on the LP. Since CBS had already shipped hundreds of thousands of LPs to stores, it shipped rolls of stickers to stores, asking them to apply the stickers to existing stock. When the Clash got wind of this, the band protested and let it be known they didn't like the idea at all. The record store where I worked got a roll, but being the Clash fan I was, I confiscated it and complied with the band's wishes. They've been in box for all these years and now can be yours!
