Description

The Complete Commodore Jazz Recordings Volumes I, 2 & 3. 
Volume 1. MR23-123. 1988. 23 disks Volume 2.  MR-23 128. 1989. 23 disks Volume 3.  MR20-134. 1990. 20 disks
Sixty-Six LP's in total. 
Originally sold mail-order only by Mosaic Records in the late 1980s, each of the three limited-edition boxed-sets of 2500, retailed at $250.00 each. 
These three box sets collect the complete output of Commodore Records in chronological order, including alternate takes and B Sides.  Billie Holiday, Albert Ammons, Eddie Heywood, Pres, Miff Mole, George Zack, Hot Lips Page, Teddy Wilson, Bud Freeman, Willie the Lion Smith, and MANY MORE!!
The three slipcases have light wear, a few dings and dents. The internal cases are Very Good+ and the records themselves are all mint or near mint. Many of the disks have never been played. The booklets have been thumbed, but are not worn, ragged or soiled. All the disks are present and correct, having been fully collated March 2018. 
These boxes will be shipped Media Mail in three sturdy LP mailers with Signature Confirmation and Insurance in the US only, due to weight.  SOLD AS IS, NON-RETURNABLE.
