Description
Artist: The Cult Album: Sonic Temple Label: Sire, 25871 Version: First Edition Release year: 1989
Visual vinyl grade: VG+, due to hairline scratches/scuffs. (Unofficial playgrade: EX). Please see more on this below. Cover: G+. You can see on the pic some tearing of the outer layers on front and back. Wear on edges and a small split showing on main spine over band/album title lettering. The innersleeve has major splits to the point that it is not functional, but the art is clear.
Good sonics and this is a very clean playing copy.
Months ago, I had made a note that this album was playing at the playgrade listed above. This is not my official playgrade of this album, though, because at the time, I was not playgrading for selling; I was purely doing it for mental notes for myself, and so I was not putting in the required degree of attention that I think an official playgrade, for selling purposes, deserves. But you can use them as a guide, if you will, to understanding the overall shape of this album, going beyond the honest pics and visual playgrades that I have listed. I will certainly list any playgrade issues that I did discover, though, such as excessive noise, or even skips, if heard. I generally will not sell an album that I know has a skip unless it is very rare, etc.
I started selling records here on eBay about 15 years ago or so. I had a pretty good run and the majority of the 800+ ratings were for vinyl sales and I maintained a consistent 100% rating. I really enjoyed selling records back then, and now it is time to thin out the herd, once again. It has been a few years since I sold any records anywhere, but hopefully you can see my honesty by my pics, using strong lighting on the vinyl and cover, etc.
