One Hundred Years - The Hanging Garden
12" UK Promo from the Pornography Album
Rare - they tells me - and I believe them.
I bought this in 1983 or so, probably from Wax Trax. It's been on the shelf in my collection since then in a plastic bag. I put the disk in a paper sleeve long ago. It may have been played once or twice but there wasn't really any need to. The sleeve is not perfect but is quite good. There are some ring impressions and the corners are a little soft, but overall it is a really nice copy.
I am not a skilled record grader but, from what I know, I would rate the sleeve a solid VG. As I said, the corners have some shelfware but the whole thing is quite solid. No folding at all. No marks on the disk, quite perfect.
There is a slight bit of price tag residue on the upper right corner. I think it will come off with lighter fluid but I am not going to try it. The paper seems intact underneath.
I have looked around for a value and there aren't too many cases of these being offered. One recently went for around $250 here on ebay.
I think that this copy is in the same neighborhood as that one was insofar as condition is concerned. I am putting this one out at a price well below that - $75. It's more than I paid anyway. If you get it for that - I congratulate you. You got a nice record.
I will ship this well packed in plastic in a proper cardboard mailer.
