Description
This vinyl LP by The Curtis Fuller Sextet, titled "Sliding Easy", is a rare find for jazz music enthusiasts. Recorded live in New York City at Nola’s Studio on March 12, 1959 and released in mono/Hi Fidelity by United Artists Records, this high-fidelity album features excellent sound quality and a red label. The vinyl stamped matrix number is U9M1211/U8M1212 UA )(upsidedown V) and the catalog number is UAL 4041.
The album cover is in excellent condition (EX) with “N.R. stamped on the back cover and has excellent sheen with no seam splits, has edge wear, light corner bumps, and ring wear and the record grading is Very Good Plus (VG+) with a couple of light surface marks label is EX condition. (See photo enlargements). The LP is a 33 RPM on a 12" record and includes the instruments of bass, trombone, tenor sax, trumpet, piano, and drums. In the list of songs on the label it is printed “Bongo Pop” instead of “Bong Bop”. This hard bop style LP is a must-have for any collector, and would make a great addition to any collection.
