The Dillards
Back Porch Bluegrass
Elektra EKL 232
Visual NM / Plays Near Mint Plus
1st pressing on 1963 elektra 'guitar player' labels.
Label variant from other 1st pressing; "SIDE ONE" and "SIDE TWO" in all caps.
LP: (Graded) Near Mint, according to Goldmine record grading definitions. This record grades as an LP that appears to either have been handled or played only in the most cautious manner possible but has perhaps a few micro sleeve scuffs visible only in the harshest reflected light. The plating surface retains as new glossiness and the labels are in outstanding shape. The LP is exceptionally clean and turntable ready.
Play Grade: Near Mint Plus / Mint Minus
- this pressing is terrific sounding - detail, imaging and dynamics. The quietness of digital and the richness of analog. The absence of surface noise both during and between tracks, rivals Compact Disc quietness, which is particularly important with a recording such as this with various passages that are acoustic and sparsely accompanied. Rates a 9.8 minimum on the below scale:
Cover: (Graded) Excellent - very minor indications of shelfwear. Has a small punch hole in the lower Left corner (please see photo details) Small (Light Blue) fine tip Sharpie "R" - upper Left back cover (see photo details). All solid seams and fully legible spine printing. Retains Elektra issue innersleeve.
