I've been collecting Doors Lps for 30 years and this copy of their February 1970 release is the best sounding pressing I've ever heard. I couldn't believe my ears when the music started.....perfect separation, percussion, bass....a wall of sound that doesn't let up. What's also surprising is that for a record that's 43 years old, the quality of the vinyl is exceptional. In addition to the record being in superb condition, the album jacket is as close to Mint as it can get as well. Always prone to ringwear and fading due to the mat "textured" nature of the paper used for the 1st pressings, this copy has somehow (miraculously) avoided these problems. The colors are still rich and vibrant as can be observed from the photos. I have no doubt the buyer of this record will seriously consider storing this 'American Classic' in a safety deposit box. A very precious album...especially in this condition.
Condition of Lp Jacket: Near Mint.....hardly a flaw to be seen.
Condition of original inner-sleeve: Excellent..... creases can be observed from the photos. Probably occured during original 1970 factory packaging.
Condition of Vinyl: Near Mint....exceptionally clean...2 or 3 light "ticks" per side...almost unbelieveable considering its age.
