Description

The Doors Original Waiting For The Sun MONO U.K. Elektra EKL 4024 1968 Here is a chance to bid for an incresingly rare original A1-B1 Mono press of the Doors classic. Please note that this is not a mint condition lp it is still a very enjoyable listen for a 51 year record that has obviously been to a party or 2!!There are marks and whilst there isnt much crackle as such the marks do cause some occasional clicks and pops mostly occuring on Side 2..I playtest all my lps and the only sustained clicking occurs during Side 2 track 3 -We could be so good together.Again though this didnt spoil my enjoyment as it is quite a loud uptempo track. To hear Hello I Love You followed by the beautiful Love Street in mono is a Doors fans delight.Only other real thing of note is some pops on the fadeout of Unknown Soldier.Gatefold Sleeve is a decent enough example with some wear round the edges.See pictures for details.Im starting off at a reasonable and fair start price for a record of this rarity.I will post just about anywhere, but if winning bidder lives outside the UK please wait for my adjusted invoice. Thanks and happy bidding ?
