Description

An original 1st press of  HC on the Asylum custom labels from 1976. Matrix A1/B1. Please note for it to be genuine 1st press of HC the labels must be this design and mention 'Made In The UK' - if they state 'manufactured' then it's a later copy. The vinyl comes in an original heavy-card gatefold cover printed by Gothic Print Finishers. Also included is the original inner sleeve and the band poster. So , 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In superb condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Very hard to find fault at all - it just plays clean from start to finish. Interference is pretty much non-existent. I didn't detect more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments - literally that's all. As solid a player as you could hope to find.
Cover (Ex) Lovely clean well cared for cover. The only vague complaint is a slight knock to the spine and in all other respects it is a beautifully preserved example. The front and back are both clean and do not exhibit any signs of ageing/fading or surface wear. The interior is immaculate - no issues. Edge wear is very light for this title. All the text on the spine is totally intact. Again, the only issue is the ding on the spine which just shows as a small compression of the spine at one point - two thirds of the way up. The spine and cover, overall, still retain excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex+) Immaculate. No splits.
Poster (Ex+) Immaculate. Has certainly never seen a wall!
