Description

An original 1st press of HC on the UK Asylum label. Matrix A1/B1 - very 1st cut. Note how the labels mention 'Made In the UK' - and not "manufactured". The vinyl comes housed in an original heavy-card gatefold printed by Gothic print Finishers. Also included is the original inner sleeve and promo poster. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side - absolutely nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio come across with perfect clarity. Interference is by and large absent. What you'll get is very nice clean audio. Even in those fussy low-key numbers like 'New Kid'. Expect nothing more than a few light crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. If you're in the market for a very clean, consistently clean copy, then do carefully consider this one. They don't all play this well. Very little to find fault with. Sweet!
Cover (Ex-) These original 1st issue covers really do look lush. Best to find an unworn and unfaded example like this one. On the front I can only make out a couple of light indentations and one slight crease. The interior is pretty much faultless. Edge wear is pretty light and the openings are still firm. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A very fine example indeed.
Inner (Ex) No issues. No fading or splits. One small date written top left corner.
Poster (Ex) Very well preserved. Has not been on a wall. One or two age spots on the rear.
