Description
This is a rare copy of “God Punishes The Eat,” the second 7-inch and first EP issued by the legendary South Florida band The Eat. The record is NM, and making this copy extra rare is that the sleeve includes the sticker and baseball card that the band slipped into some select copies, along with an insert done in a Tiger Beat style informing us of each band member’s favorite atomic number, favorite inert gas, what they look for in a girl, etc.
Note there are some small coffee stains on the record cover, visible in picture #1.

The Eat is probably one of Florida's best-known bands to record collectors. Their inclusion on numerous bootleg comps like "Killed By Death" have made their two earliest records something of the holy grail of record collecting. Yeah, they are high-dollar records, but more importantly, they rock pretty hard.
The second Eat record, the "God Punishes The Eat" 7-inch EP, was released on Giggling Hitler in 1980. "God Punishes The Eat" comes in an absurdly thick cardboard picture sleeve. I don't know where they managed to get covers like that printed, as I have never seen a cover like that on any other record. The band members put cheap, round, yellow and red "Eat" stickers and baseball cards in select copies. If you find a copy with the extra goodies, then you have found an extra rare copy of an already rare record.Tracklist:
